Alternative History

The Burgundian Dominion Navies refer to the combined navies of the Kingdom of Burgundy's independent and semi-independent polities, which support naval forces independent of the Burgundian Navy or the Borealian Navy. During wartime each nation's fleets are consolidated under the joint command of Burgundy, but otherwise are not directly owned by Burgundy proper.

The fleets of the western hemisphere are largely under the influence of Borealia, who since the 1890s has been the chief component of Burgundy's naval capacities in the region. As such many of the local navies in this region consist of Borealian-built or decommissioned warships, and ships built in part from financial or technical assistance.
