The Byzantine March on Armenia (Armenian: Բյուզանդական Մարտի Հայաստան, Byuzandakan Marti Hayastan, Greek: Βυζαντινή Μαρτίου σχετικά με την Αρμενία, Vyzantiní̱ Martíou schetiká me ti̱n Armenía) was a military conflict in 670, generally obscure due to its concurrency with the Persian War of Succession of 667-673. The war was led by Emperor Constantinos IV and his cousin David of Armenia in an attempt to recover formerly Byzantine lands (lost in the Treaty of Babylon) and to establish a more Byzantine-friendly contingent, David, in the Armenian throne. The war soon slowed down in the Caucasus, and led to the Arsacid Armenian collapse after Peroz of Persia launched his own contingent in the east.
