The Caribbean Federation is an archipelagic Commonwealth realm in North America located in the Lesser Antilles, between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. It is divided into eight autonomous regions and shares maritime borders with Haiti, Venezuela and the Confederate States. Its surface area of 8,364 square kilometers makes it the smallest country in North America and one of the smallest in the world, ranking 135th among the world's 152 sovereign states. With a population of over 2.2 million inhabitants, it is the 10th-most populous country in North America and the 119th in the world.
The federation originated with rebellions that took place in the British West Indies during the Anglo-American War. Eight of the colonies united into a single polity and declared their independence, which was recognized right after the war. Others, such as Jamaica, the Bahamas and Belize, remained part of the British Empire and would become separate sovereign states decades later.
Politics[]

Richard V, King of the Caribbean
The politics of the Caribbean Federation take place within a framework of a federal, parliamentary, representative democratic monarchy, in which the head of State is the monarch who appoints the Governor General as vice-regal representative. The current monarch, Richard V, reigns under the official title of King of the Caribbean, having served in that position since he ascended the throne in 2014. The current Governor-General is Cécile La Grenade.
Executive power is exercised by the government while legislative power is vested in both the government and the two Chambers of Parliament. The bicameral Parliament consists of the Senate and the House of Representatives. The current Prime Minister of the Caribbean Federation is Gaston Alfonso Browne.

Anthem[]
- Forged from the love of liberty,
- In the fires of hope and prayer,
- With boundless faith in our Destiny,
- We solemnly declare,
- Side by side we stand,
- Islands of the blue Caribbean Sea,
- This our Native Land,
- We pledge our lives to Thee,
- Here every creed and race finds an equal place,
- And may God bless our Nation.
