A Short History of Carmenia[]
Carmenia was a Parthican Province and was one of the most receptive of the Provinces to the Roman Integration. The Zoroastrian Religion remained in a majority, but the Roman Polytheistic religion was growing in popularity. Angelic Gnosticism had few followers except in the western border areas. The capital of this province, Aurelianople (Tehran), is named after Marcus Aurelius who conquered the Parthian Empire. Carmenia was one of the closer of the Parthican Provinces and had many different groups from the indigenous people to immigrants from Europe and Africa.
