Carter Glass (January 4, 1858 – May 28, 1946) was the 15th president of the Confederate States, serving from 1939 to 1941. A member of the Dixiecrat Party, he previously served as CS Senator of Virginia from 1920 to 1939, and was the last president before the fall of the Confederate States in the Confederate Civil War. After the Socialist Confederacy was established, he acted as president of the government-in-exile from Kentucky, U.S. until 1945 and died a year later.
