The Catholic League (Latin: Catholicam Fœdus) is an intergovernmental and military alliance. It was founded in 1564 to counteract the spreading of the Kappelist heresy, to promote mutual support of all pro-Catholic nations in the event of war, and to ensure the defense of the Catholic religion (the One True Faith).

Well, this is interesting. I've been at my family's place all day and come home to a Holy War? It seems that the Kappelists wish to spread their heresy by the sword, and we must do our duty to God to stop them making a mockery of God's True Word. The One True Faith will surely live on, it is His will!
Does the League want to outline the strategies of who-attacks-who? I think the Pope has been advised to aid Byzantine, though if Caliph Muhammad has attacked the Byzantine Empire, do we really want to drag the Caliphate into it? I suggest the Italians (Venice and the States) and the French focus on Milan, Switzerland, and Bavaria if they joins the war, while the Germans try to stop the smaller-state Kappelist League from causing further destruction. Though, I have to wonder... would those non-player nations even show up on the algorithm?
