Christine Lennon (Christine Daiko Ono Lennon; Japanese: 小野 大子, Hepburn: Daigo Ono, born January 5, 1982) is an American actress, comedian, and philanthropist. She is the daughter of Beatles member John Lennon and his second wife, avant-garde artist Yoko Ono, sister to Sean Lennon, and half-sister to Julian Lennon and Kyoko Ono. She was the inspiration for the song "Wondrous", on her father's 1981 album Lefter, and contributed backing vocals to some songs on his 1995 album Droplet. Her parents divorced in her infant years following tensions between Lennon and Ono over financial matters.
Since 1999, Lennon has held a career as a comedian, and has made cameo roles in multiple films, making her debut in the 2005 film Race. She had supporting roles in the films Inception (2010), Castles in the Sky (2014), The Lobster (2015), and Finding Dory (2016). Additionally, she has funded global humanitarian efforts as well as the Unionist and Progressive parties in the United States. Since 2017, she has been married to Tally Hall's rhythm guitarist Joe Hawley, and the two reside in Boston.
