In the Confederation of Greece, there is a college run by monks from the Holy Mountain (also known as Mount Athos). It primarily acts as a seminary, though, of course, all laity are invited to study there as well.

University of Bamburgh - founded 2001, mostly apprentice based study in masonry, thatching, plumbing, brick making and laying, pottery making, carpentry and joinery.

University of Smolyan, established in 1998. Headed by Plamen Dimitrov Mitev, a former history professor from Sofia. While primarily an arts university, it also has a large engineering faculty. The university is located on the former Plovdiv University branch on Smolyan, that had been established in 1961, and between 1983-1998 was closed
Republic of Venice[]
Ca' Foscari University of Venice, opened in 1868 and become a full university in 1968, with branches in Treviso, Belluno, and Pordenone, her current rector is Tiziana Lippiello.
University of Padua, established in 1222 by a group of students and teachers from Bologna. It has other branches in Rovigo, Ferrara, Vicenza, and Bassano del Grappa, his current rector is Rosario Rizzuto.
University of Trieste, founded in 1924 by the Fascist regime, since the creation of the Venetian Republic it offer courses and lectures in both Slovenian and Croatian as well. It has other branches in Pola, Capodistria, Udine and Gorizia. His current rector is Roberto Di Lenarda.
