However this was mightily ineffective, comprised, as it was, of a collection of large canoes (previously used for transport and colonisation) with Maya troops on board. This proto-navy was a complete wreak, and by 1257 the Maya resorted to Fire Ships. This began the second stage of the Foundation.

Classes follow the Roman trend of only going to a certain number, but for the Mayans the number is 13, a lucky number. As for the class names themselves, they are almost always from Dieties and Half-Gods.
