Introduction

The Communist China Bloc is a term to describe the People's Republic of China and its associated allies. Unlike the United States and Soviet spheres, the Communist China Bloc is not a formal organisation nor have there been any plans to create such an organisation, although the Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement includes its neighbours of which it shares a border and Cambodia. In general, states in this sphere are left-wing, anti-Soviet and may or may not have a Maoist ideology.
