Cinematography[]

Even after the world war, people are still making movies. Multiple well-known film making companies have survived the apocalypse. Post-1995 films are a lot cheaper than those made before. CGI is usually very low budget. Animated 3D movies are rare. There were plans for making the first 3D animated film in 1995 but it was cancelled due to the war. The first 3D animated film was delayed until 2001.

Literature[]

Literature has been mostly unaffected but many books were lost during the war due to fires, weather, and riots destroying libraries. Books are still being produced in large amounts all over the world. There have been some issues with non-cannon continuations of unfinished book series being made, the most famous example of this being the Goosebumps series.

Comics[]

Similar to Literature comics were mostly unaffected and due to the sudden lack of electronic media became slightly more popular.

Sports[]

With electronic entertainment becoming uncommon after the war, sports became even more popular.

Theater[]

During the war, a lot of technology was destroyed, leaving electronic entertainment a luxury. Because of this, a lot of people have returned to watching opera performances and puppets shows.

Video games[]

Video games have been greatly affected by the war. Production has slowed down and graphics have not improved that much. Bootlegs and ROM hacks have become a very common thing in the video game world. Video game piracy is very common.

World Wide Web[]

The Internet was planned to be released to the public in 1995 but after the war it started being used by scientists, military officers, and other important figures in the the ruins of the united states to communicate with each other. The internet eventually spread to other places and was released to the public in 2007. It quickly garnered a lot of attention.
