The Cygnian Department for Indigenous Affairs (MOCC-DIA) is a department of the Ministry of the Chancellor and Cabinet responsible for most federal Indigenous-specific policies and programs. The group works with other federal ministries, state and territory governments, Aboriginal communities and organisations, and peak bodies to achieve the Government's priorities across issues of education, employment, health, and community safety. Agencies subordinate to the Department include the Regional Network, and the five federal Land Councils.

The Department for Indigenous Affairs is led by the Associate Secretary for Indigenous Affairs, currently Finn Pratt, who reports to the Minister for Indigenous Affairs, currently Linda Burney.
