The Hashemite Caliphate or the "Divine Muslim Empire" was established in 1466. This page gives details of the DME's history, plans and to allow players controlling provinces in the DME to communicate and plan.
The things discussed here are SECRET and are not public knowledge.
Government[]
The government would consist of one delegate from each nation, vassals also get a vote (for historical plausibility). Every 15 years, we'd all vote for a Caliph. No nation would be able to have one of its citizens be Caliph for more than 30 years. (If Caliph dies, his successor in that nation would take power until end of Term). Major decisions in the Caliphate are made by the Imperial Courte of Muslims which is in charge on voting on policy decisions of the DME. The full DME Constitution can be found here on the Imperial Muslim Treaty page.
Requirements[]
Being a Muslim country, of course.
The most basic thing is required from all members, a defense pact at all times. We may vote on adding more, but for now that's it.
The Caliph[]
The Caliph is the head of state for the Caliphate and he is the Divine ruler of this land, the Shadow of God on Earth, has the power to make all laws, provided they do not contradict the word of God. A list of Caliph's of the Hashemite Caliphate is listed below:
- Caliph Marwan III 1466 - 1509
- Caliph Muhammad ibn Marwan 1509 - ????

Plan[]
- Stage 1
- Mamluks conquer the Hafsids.
- The Mamluks, Oman and Aq Qoyunlu expand into Arabia to take over all the Arabian desert.
- The Ottomans and Aq Qoyunlu take over as many of the small Turkish states as possible
- Stage 2
- Mamluks make Granada semi-vassal
- Aq Qoyunlu conquers Oman.
- Stage ends as Aq Qoyunlu and Mamluk marry & they join together in dynastic union and declare a new caliphate.
- Stage 3
- The Caliphate takes over more territory and 3 caliphs rule during this period as the caliphate unifies the Muslim world.
- Towards the end of the second Caliph's rule, the new Turko-Mongolic Gog & Magog state appears.
- During the reign of the third caliph, the future Mahdi will become a great general of the caliphate's forces, winning many battles against the invading "Gog & Magog nation", thus he rises to popularity.
- The stage ends as the 3rd caliph dies leaving no clear successor. The Mahdi begins to gain popularity as he preaches about the hadith signs appearing. The Mahdi general wins a great victory against the Turko-Mongolic threat & this coupled with all his ideas about himself being the Mahdi start to be accepted widely and he becomes the new Mahdi-Caliph.
- Stage 4
- The Caliphate lead by the Mahdi goes super expansionist and people really begin to believe that the day of judgment will happen in the next couple of years (nine years long). The Mahdi wins many more military victories and people are assured that he is the real Mahdi.
- This stage of super expansion lasts nine years
- Stage 5
- The Mahdi begins to lose some support and the caliphate expands more slowly and battles begin to be lost. This will probably be when the Holy Roman Empire ends up unifying, and they push us out of Europe.
- The stage ends after 11 years in the Mahdi's 20th year of rule. The Mahdi claims to have met Jesus and gets someone to help him rule who claims to be Jesus. However, eventually the people find out this isn't the real Jesus and then the Mahdi is caught out to be a fraud, and he is killed by an angry mob for blasphemy.
- Stage 6
- The caliphate enters a civil war as the various regional governments, warlords and generals all fight for control.
- The caliphate is destroyed and split up into several successor states.

Discussion[]
Okay I've updated the plan with the new stuff from the talk page and the suggestions made by people. Any other amendments people think need to be made to the plan? VonGlusenburg (talk to Von!) 12:12, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
Something for me to do? OBOW - any questions? (talk) 23:18, September 19, 2012 (UTC)
Well, if you are sure about joining. Work continuously on your navy and exploration by sea, you may spread Islam to Indonesia.
Spread Islam in India and help prop up the Indonesian Muslim states like Malacca. VonGlusenburg (talk to Von!) 16:42, September 20, 2012 (UTC)
