Danubia, officially the United Danube Empire, or it's official title, The Kingdoms and Lands represented in the Imperial Council, the Lands of Bohemia and Moravian Crowns of Saint Wenceslas, the Monarchy of the Slovak nations, and the Lands of the Crown of St. Stephen, is a sovereign nation in Central and Eastern Europe, more commonly, and incorrectly called Austria-Hungary. The United Danube Empire is bordered by Germany to the west and north, Poland to the north, Romania to the east, Yugoslavia and Italy to the south, and Switzerland to the west.
History[]
After the end of World War I, Austria-Hungary agreed on a Ceasefire with the Entente, along with Germany and many other nations. Austria-Hungary was forced to cede all of Transylvania to Romania, Galicia to Poland, Vojvodina, Croatia, Slovenia, and Bosnia to Yugoslavia, and Trentino (excluding South Tyrol), and Istria to Italy.
The loss of many territories led to Nationalist Uprisings by many ethnic groups. To calm these groups down, Emperor Karl I reformed the Empire into the United Danube Empire. The Empire had four monarchs, the Emperor of Austria from the House of Habsburg, the King of Hungary which was given to the House of Karolyi, the King of Bohemia and Moravia from the House of Habsburg, and the Elected title of the King of the Slovak Nation.
