POD for Climate Change

The POD for Climate Change occurs before the end of the 20th century. The World does not listen to the advice of the leading scientist and continue to pollute the world and increase the strength of the greenhouse gases. In 2003, when the Larsen-B ice shaft in Antarctica collapsed, so did the melted areas of Greenland, which rose the world's water levels to over 150 meters but in a long period of time. Because of this, the world continues to take a blind eye. Years go by without much notice, however the water level had been steadily rising, in 2015 the water has already rose by 70 meters. The United Nations pass a weak bill stating that the emissions of Greenhouse gases to be reduced. A duo premature explosion of two nuclear bombs resulted in the instant rising of water levels by 80 meters. Immediately, all of the coast regions of the world were underwater, after the coastal regions were gone, the water continue to rise, the worst to suffer was the Russian Federation, which had lose over 80% of it's European lands. The United States also suffered, losing their national capital of Washington D.C. and many areas in the Eastern coast.

Continents

Each of the continents were devastated after the flooding, many countries were swallowed when the water rose, borders had to be redrawn, civil unrest broke out and many died.

Europe

In Europe, many countries were hit harder particularly the U.K, Ireland, Denmark, The Baltic region, Balkans, the Low Lands and European Russia. Denmark was completely swallowed, the survivors, were rescued by the Swedish Coast Guard.

Asia

China's Industrial and National Capital, Beijing, was under 200 meters of water, India loss 40% of it land, Bangladesh was completely destroyed and Japan loss Tokyo.

Oceania

Papa New Guinea and New Zealand were spared from the worst though 60% of New Guinea was gone, the real loser was Australia, which had lost 30-40% of it's mainland.

Africa

Being home to most of the 3rd world countries, Africa had suffered very little with the flooding, the most affected regions would be the Atlantic and Indian coastal regions.

South America

Brazil would of been the worst nation hit in South America, it had lost over 85% of it land and much of the Amazon is underwater. Uruguay, Paraguay, and the Guyana regions were underwater, Chile and Argentina were the less affected.

North America

In North America, much of Canada's Tundra regions had melted, The National Capital, Ottawa was submerged under 250 meters of water. The U.S wasn't spared. Washington D.C was gone. Florida and many of the Eastern Coast states were also gone and in the west, California, Washington and Oregon were hit the hardest while Hawaii was completely gone. Mexico lost some of it's Eastern regions and was separated from Baja California.

Aftermath

After the flooding was over, the total death toll was massive. Over the total global population of 6,700,000,000, only about half survived, which tallied up to around 3,400,000,000. Many were survivors of the flood, however, without any aid, many died of starvation and disease. Some countries, such as in the United States, China and Russia had civil unrest, which led to civil war.
