After the major offensive war against the Armed forces of the Philippines, first quarter storm and the fall of Mendiola in March 17 1970, The CPP successfully overthrowned the incumbent Third republic president Ferdinand E. Marcos and his family exile to Hawaii. This leads to the creation of new government with the help from Communist party of China.

Background and Establishment[]

The Communist Party of the Philippines was founded December 26 1968 coinciding the 75th birthday of Chairman Mao. Communist Party of the Philippines is a breakaway group from the Partido Komunista also known PKP-1930. Both party are communist except their ideology, The PKP-1930 follows the Soviet framework Marxist-Leninist while the newly founded group of Joma Sison was embodied by the Communist China Maoism. The CPP gained many support along the Country sides of the Philippines due to high incidence of poverty during the Marcos regime, The students from the universities in Manila and across the region staged a massive rally that leads the increase of recruitment of Militant groups that fight against the Marcos Government. With the mass support of the people Mendiola, the last fortress of the third republic government finally fell on March 17 1970 due to heavy offensive by the New People's Army, armed wing of Communist Party of The Philippines. At exactly 5:00 pm, the Malacañang compound was controlled by the Militant group which leads to Marcos Family forced leave in Guam before exiling in Hawaii. Diplomats from the different country was given ultimatum to evacuate until March 22 at exactly 12:00 in the evening.
