History[]
Background[]
After the events of Doomsday, most United States Armed Forces personnel were reorganized into the forces of the American Provisional Administration, as a result of the Gathering Order. These would serve the APA in its endeavor to regain control over US territory. However, these would largely peter out, as the influence of the APA waned during the late 80's and early 90's. Eventually, the APA would be dissolved, taking its armed forces with them. However, several American officers, including National Security member Oliver North, would refuse to join the ANZ Armed Forces, instead making a living as mercenaries or joining the French Foreign Legion. These men would serve as security guards, fight off pirates, thieves and terrorists, and generally make a living through their skills. Among these men, many would join the Committee to Restore the United States of America, with Oliver North going to the Carribean to found a branch there.
