Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev (Russian: Дми́трий Анато́льевич Медве́дев, tr. Dmitriy Anatolyevich Medvedev; born 14 September 1965) is a Russian politician who served as the 11th President of the Russian Democratic Federative Republic. He was succeeded by Gennady Zyuganov on 26 May 2017, following the latter's victory in the 2017 Russian presidential election.
