Donald John Trump Jr. (born December 31, 1977), often nicknamed Don Jr., is an American politician and businessman and currently the president-elect of the United States. A member of the Republican Party, he is currently serving as the governor of New York since 2023 after narrowly defeating Andrew Cuomo. He previously was the Republican Party's presidential nominee in 2020, which he lost to Pete Buttigieg, and in 2024, which he won. Trump is the eldest child of businessman Donald Trump and his first wife Ivana Trump.

On November 15, 2022, Trump announced his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election and set up a fundraising account. In March 2023, the campaign began diverting 10 percent of the donations to Trump's leadership PAC. Trump's campaign had paid $100 million towards his legal bills by March 2024.
