Differently driving direction

Driving side by country:

  Right (↓↑)
  Left (↑↓)

In bidirectional traffic, driving side refers to the side of the road in which a vehicle, such as an automobile or animal-pulled cart, is supposed to go according to local customs and law. Those are normally called right-hand traffic (↓↑) and left-hand traffic (↑↓).

The distribution of driving side varies across the world. Countries in the British Isles are left-handed, while the rest of Europe is right-handed. Similarly, countries in northern and central-western Africa are typically right-handed while southern and central-eastern African countries tend to be left-handed. Most countries in the continental Americas are right-handed, while all Caribbean countries except Haiti are left-handed. In other continents and regions, the driving side is more particular to each country.
