Electronic Entertainment Expo 2020 (E3 2020) was the 26th Electronic Entertainment Expo, during which hardware manufacturers, software developers, and publishers from the video game industry presented new and upcoming products. The event took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 9-11, 2020.
Months before the expo, there were concerns that E3 2020 would be cancelled because of fears of the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak in Wuhan, China. The Entertainment Software Association held countless meetings on how to address these concerns, going as far presenting on how to modify the event. Since the outbreak was contained, E3 2020 went on as planned. There was an estimate of 75,000 attendees throughout the three-day expo, beating E3 2019's attendance of 66,000 people.
