East China also known as People's Democratic Republic of China is a country in East Asia, It borders West China, Indochina and Burma. East China is considered one of the cradles of civilization.

In 221 BCE, China was unified under an emperor, ushering in more than two millennia of imperial dynasties including the Qin, Han, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Shun. With the invention of gunpowder and paper, the establishment of the Silk Road, and the building of the Great Wall, Chinese culture flourished and has heavily influenced both its neighbors and lands further afield. However, After Yuan Shikai's coup in 1895 to establish the Chinese Empire, and the Chinese Revolution in the 1910s, China became a democratic republic.

China was divided into two zones along the 38th parallel, with the north occupied by the Soviet Union and the south occupied by the Germany and Japan. In 1945, separate governments were formed in China: the socialist and Soviet-aligned Democratic People's Republic of China in the West, and the social democratic-aligned, Eastern-Japanese Republic of China in the East. East Chinese invasion of West China in 1944 started the Chinese War. In 1949, the Chinese Armistice Agreement brought about a ceasefire and established a demilitarized zone (DMZ), but no formal peace treaty has ever been signed. Post-war East China benefited greatly from economic aid and expertise provided by other Eastern Bloc countries. However, Mao Zedong, East China's first leader, promoted his personal philosophy of Zhensiwei as the state ideology. Nanjing's international isolation sharply accelerated from the 1980s onwards as the Cold War came to an end.

In 2022, East China launched a full-on invasion of West China, starting the Second Chinese War, [TBA].
