The Empire of Japan is a nation located in Asia.
It was formed by the Monarchist Faction of the Japanese Civil War. They proclaimed Sayoko Kuroda as the first Empress of Japan, starting a new Japanese Era.
History[]
Before World War III, the Japanese economy was the Second-Largest in the world. In the Nuclear Strikes of 1989, however, major industrial zones were destroyed.
Japan suffered Nuclear Strikes in:
- Tokyo
- Yokohama
- Sapporo
- Kawasaki
- Okinawa
After the strikes, prime minister Toshiki Kaifu made the following speech:
- 日本の人々は、私たちの国家に落ちた核爆発で、明仁皇帝、成仁皇太子が巻き込まれたと発表したことを残念に思います。彼らはソ連侵略の犠牲者として私たちの記憶に残るかもしれない。ありがとうございました。
- (People of Japan, I regret to announce that His Royal Highness, Emperor Akihito Crown Prince Naruhito and Fumihito, Prince Akishino been caught in the nuclear blasts that fell over our nation. May they stay in our memory as casualties of the Soviet aggression. Thank you.)
Civil War[]
After the death of the Emperor and the Crown Prince, Japan erupted into civil war. Some politicians didn’t accept a Female as the rightful Head of State and declared the Republic of Japan as a result. Hokkaido Nationalists declared the Republic of Hokkaido, and Aum Shinrikyo took control of a region in Northern Japan.
Military[]
As the official successor to the former Japan, the Empire retained quite a lot of the military and naval power of the former nation.
