Era One, lasting from 387 BC to 13 AD, is the first and arguably most important part of my timeline. It starts with the fall of Rome by the Senone, the Point of Divergence of my timeline, and ends with the stage largely set for the rest of my timeline. For the most part, it chronicles the long series of wars between the Safinei and the Etruscans that occur in my timeline, eventually culminating the the Third Safinei War. However, the story also follows Carthage, the Keltoic states, and Macedonia, each nation or region plotting their own alternate course.

Notes and Clarification[]

1. As some have noted, I have been annoyingly inconsistent with my naming of nations. The first and most obvious of this is the Safinei, a name that many will not recognize. This name is simply the name the Samnites gave themselves, and thus I used it, as the Romans were never around to give them the name they are known by today. However, this only applies here, and thus, Carthage is known by the name the Romans gave it in our timeline, instead of the native Qart-ḥadašt.
2. Before, I used this place to talk about how I had been inconsistent with the naming if the Keltoic states - however, I am pleased to announce I have rectified this, and it is no longer a problem.
