The FIFA World Cup is an international sporting competition between different nations in order to see which nation is the best at soccer, or football. The World Cup, as the competition is normally known as, is hosted in a different nation every four years, since 1930.
The World Cup is a competition between the men's soccer (or football) teams of each nation that sends a team. The sport is regulated by FIFA, the Fédération Internationale de Football Association.
