Unlike in our Timeline, Robert Menzies comes from a different party, named the "Democratic Australian Nationalist" party, who are actually anti-British Fascists and, although not elected in 1939, he was elected in 1949 and once elected, Robert Menzies leads Australian to conquer most of Oceania and South Asia.

This only happens after two years of economic struggles and fighting off any rebels to the Prime Minster, like the people who want Australia to have a US-like constitution, which picked up quite a bit of support in places like Victoria. Eventually, desperation sets in and Robert Menzies invades Tonga, Samoa and New Zealand.

This starts what is known as the Oceanic War which goes on for ten years with Australia conquering New Zealand completely ending the war in 1966, forming the Australian-Oceanic Republic. In 1967, the Australian-Oceanic Republic decides to expand even more and conquers most of Indonesia.

On August 1st, 1969, the Australian Military attempts to invade Hawaii and east Alaska, they occupy parts of Hawaii and east Alaska. This causes the American-Australian War or more commonly known as the One Month War as the war ends on the 3rd of September, 1969 with an American victory after both American and British troops were involved. The failure immediately causes Australia to plunge into civil unrest. During the chaos, the states of Tasmania, Victoria and South Australia declares independence from the Australia-Oceanic Republic. This causes the Australian Civil War. During the conflict, US-led forces liberate New Zealand, Indonesia, Tonga and Samoa, and eventually joins the war on the side of the capitalists. These chain of events coupled with economic instability leads to an all-out revolution breaking out in Fascist Australia. This allows the capitalist forces to invade the fascist-controlled areas without resistance.

A democratic government is formed and stability returns. In December 1970, the first free elections in decades leads to a Labor government. A referendum held at the same time leads to Australia becoming a Commonwealth realm.
