Fernando Haddad (January 25, 1963-) is a Brazilian academic, lawyer and politician, affiliated with the Workers' Party (Partido dos Trabalhadores; PT). He served as Depulty Federal (1995-2003), Minister of Economy in the Alencar government (2007-2010), soon after he was Governor of the State of São Paulo (2011-2013) until running for the 2014 elections where he lost to Toucan Aécio Neves.
