Sweden is a nation in Europe.
History[]
Sweden first started to colonise Takamatsu in 1619 (around where OTL New Netherland is). Sweden also used to control Finland up until the Northern War in 1721, when they lost it to Russia. Soon, in 1914 Sweden joined the First World War on the allied side. Soon by 1924 Sweden turned from a Kingdom into a Republic and remained neutral since. Afterwards, Sweden maintained their colony until it declared independence in 1984.
Sweden is also one of the founders of the European Union back in 1954, along with Finland, Denmark-Norway, and Yugoslavia.
