The US Civil War was a conflict that rocked north america and even brought in some european powers too. In Europe, it is considered part of the Napoleonic Wars as the civil war was used as a proxy between Mexico and Britain. Eventually, the francophone states of America were also forced to intervene so slavery could be ended as the confederate states had committed several genocides against native americans.
