The 2015 WCRB report on the former Greater London Area is a document issued by the WCRB on a exploratory mission led by Celtic and OBN Personnel to the Greater London area, as well as parts of the Thames outside of the area, including Oxford.

Introduction[]

With the destruction of Doomsday, London was completely destroyed when hit by multiple Soviet Missile Strikes. The Square Mile of the City of London was pummeled, and most of the central city has been described as "Nothing but glass for Miles". The population of London on Doomsday was over six million: few escaped. The area along the Thames was also greatly hit, the University City of Oxford destroyed as well.

Findings of Report[]

London thames 1983DD

State of London at the Present Day

It is thought that on Doomsday there was a fireball radius of 8.3km2, Radiation radius of 23.2kmand a Thermal Blast, causing third degree burns, to a radius of 652km (the Greater London Area was 1569 km2, meaning the Thermal Blast covered some 40% of the area). The reports also showed craters in the city of some 240 each.

While the blasts did not cover the entirety of London, with the breakdown of services and further radiation caused thousands of deaths. Additionally, the Thames Barrier and any other defences were vapourised by the blast, causing mass flooding throughout both the Greater London Area and areas surrounding the Thames. In many places the Thames has started to reclaim it's former, prehistoric flow. As such London has been left as little more than Glass, Craters and Radioactive Swampland. In areas which have not been flooded, trees have started to reclaim their former forest areas.
