Christianity
- Catholicism
- With Roman oversight, the Catholic Church has remained a part of the Roman Empire. The various patriarchs of the church regularly meet in what has become a Catholic Senate. Though the Bishop of Rome has always been the first among equals, the bishops still elect the role.
- Bogomilist
- Following the teachings of Bogomil, Bogomilists are a dualist sect that dismantled the ecclesiastical hierarchy in favor of a more personal experience. The faith integrates much of the pre-Christian pagan rituals of the Slavic religions.
- Miaphysite
- Believing that Christ is one person in two natures, the Miaphysites are in direct opposition to the Council of Chalcedon. They have cemented their faith in the Caucasus and claim direct descendance from the first Christian nation in Armenia.
- Free Spirits
- The Brethren of the Free Spirit are a loose collection of Catholic heretics. Their beliefs are varied, but generally center around the soul and direct connection to God.
- Slavonic
- After the efforts of Cyril and Methodius, the Slavonic Church has become intertwined with the Slavic identity.
- Nestorian
- Originating in the teachings of Nestorius, Nestorianism is an Eastern Church that believes that a divine and human nature exist in Christ.
- Celtic
- Due to distance, rivalry, and the influence of local culture, Celtic Christianity diverged from Catholicism.
- Basque
- As a consequence of efforts to preserve Basque culture and language from conquest, a distinct form of Christianity emerged in opposition to the rest of Europe.
- Coptic
- The Coptic branch of the Miaphysite faith is unique in its development apart from the Armenians. The long struggle with the Muslim invaders has shaped the Coptic Church to be a more conservative sect.
Islam

- Zaidi
- After the exile of the Zaidi in the 8th century to Southeast Asia, their faith began to spread. The foreigners converted the locals to their faith and soon the rulers had adopted the faith. Upon contact with the Sunnis from Indonesia and India, they quickly found themselves under attack. Within the religion, there is a divide between the focus on rising up against tyranny (Jarudiyah) and a more tolerant focus on Imamate (Batriyya).

- Zaidiyya
- Waqwaqi
- Having been introduced to Islam through contact with the Zaidi, the Japanese integrated the Zaidi faith into their preexisting concept of religion. Shrines no longer venerate the Kami, but rather venerate the Zaidi Imams. Each Imam is believed to provide different blessings via their shrines. This heresy is analogous to venerating Christians Saints to the degree of praying directly to them.
