The Latvian and Estonian regions were combined into a single puppet state called the Swedish Baltic Duchy. For Sweden to get a hold of this region they had to fight a war against them called the Swedish Baltic war.
History[]

After News of the hand over to Sweden in 1720 the inhabitants knew that Swedish occupation would be bad so they formed a short-lived country called the United Baltic Federation. This country would only last for five months from December 15th, 1720 to April 29th, 1721.
Aftermath[]
After Sweden crushed the Baltic Federation on April 29th they asked for any politicians of Polish-Lithuanian to govern the Swedish Baltic Duchy and one man who goes by the name Michael said he would govern. After the war the Swedish Baltic Duchy would be one of the least loyal puppets of the Swedish Kingdom.
The 1729 Rebels[]
Due to being one of the least loyal puppets of the Swedish Monarchy a group of pedants got together in Ventspils and blocked off the town. Michael thought a compromise could be reached and Sweden wanted to use force. In the end force was used and killed 132 people in the town from cannon bombardment.
Politics[]
The Govenor for the first part of its history was Michael Fryderyk Czaertoryski. He was asked by Sweden to govern The Swedish Baltic Duchy. At first he did not want to govern due to his age. Sweden told him that this would a good time for him to get some experience for his political career. After Michael agreed, he was the youngest Governor for any Swedish puppet.
