The Republic of Finland is a country in Northern Europe which borders Sweden and Russia. It was formed in the aftermath of The Finnish War of Independence against the German Empire. It was preceded by The Kingdom of Finland.

It suffered four years of bitter fighting during the Second Finnish Civil War against Finnish Socialists.
