The First Atlantian Empire was born after the Atlains overwhelmed and destroyed the Latens in The Four Day War. The empire only lasted the length of 100 years. In the aftermath, the Atlains (now known as Atlantians) were struggling to control the rebellious regions of Laten's former kingdom. Several rebellions and independence movements were happening at the same time. The Atlantian Empire made a compromise. If they (The Atlantian Empire) could find more land, the citizens who didn't want to live under the direct rule of the Atlantians could live there. Many people liked this idea, as they believed their own country could start because of this. The first Atlantian explorers were permitted to sail north.

Exploration Failure[]

The first ship sent was strictly for explorers. If there was any danger out there, the explorers would encounter it first. Unfortunately, the voyage went disastrously. All of their ships were made of wood. During the launch of the ship, the hull received several punctures. This went unnoticed until it was too late. The ship sank a few miles away from Atlantis, killing everybody on board.

First Colony[]

Despite the failure of the first voyage, several more were made. The Cerlmesco was the first ship to land successfully. The ship was carrying citizens from Atlantis. The passengers landed in North America where parts of modern day Nova Scotia and New Brunswick are. The colony Atlantians made there was named Atlanta, in honour of Atlantis. Soon enough, once word got back to Atlantis, more colonies were made in North America.

Unrest In Atlantis[]

Although King Arthur Thelonias had gone through with his promise, there were still several unhappy people in Atlantis who had a life there. They thought, why should we have to leave to be happy? And so, the protests began. At the time, Atlantis wasn't trading with any nation. They were virtually isolated. In order to appease the population, King Arthur decided to step down as king and let his son, David, rule.

King David's Falling Approval[]

David was a very strict ruler. Not cruel, but strict. He mobilized a force of 100 soldiers to deal with the problem. However, this backfired terribly. Stories emerged of a massacre against people peacefully protesting their place in the empire. After this, David struggled to keep this suppressed. Newspapers were not a thing yet, so the news went by word of mouth. On June 1, 6,786 BCE, King David announced that all rebellious factions were an enemy of Atlantis. Because of the fact that the capital of Atlantis was the only place with well made weapons and skilled warriors, the rebels surrendered before a war started.

Name Of Second Colony[]

On September 7, 6,783 BCE, King David Thelonias approved the voyage of another colony ship. They sent it northeast instead of northwest. As a result, the ship landed in the modern day Republic of Ireland. Eventually, the colonists reached modern day Northern Ireland. However, that was during King Atlan Thelonias's rule. While this colony was being established, the people of Atlantis almost unanimously agreed on naming it Keyoris, alluding to Cayosis. However, David preferred the name Genisis, in honor of Genisis. In the end, that was the name chosen.

Ruler Controversy[]

In 6,750, King Atin Thelonias II was announced the ruler of the continent. He served for 5 years until a rumor started surfacing that he had not married a woman. These rumors turned out to be correct. Atin was exiled and a new ruler was installed. This ruler was Atin II's mother's brother's son.The cousin's had never met before and this made Atin II angry. His name was Lukas Erikson.

Atin II's Son[]

Unbeknownst to the public, Atin II had a child. The child was 13 years old when Atin was exiled. 5 years after that date, Atin comes back to the capital demanding that only somebody of Royal Blood is fit to serve. The general public did not like Atin II, however, they were in favour of a king with Royal Blood. So, the first vote was held to see who would become king of Atlantis. 5 year reigning Lukas Erikson or 18 year old Elliot Quentin. The populous chose Elliot.

The Truth About Elliot[]

Although Elliot was only 18, they had a knowledge of ruling because of their father. Elliot ruled successfully from 6,730-6,727. 3 years in ruling, it was broadcast that Elliot was actually female. Usually, if this were to happen, the ruling woman would be executed. However, because she was Royal Blood, this was not allowed to happen. In 6,726, Elliot announced she was pregnant with a child. She proclaimed that she would rule until her son was able to.

Riley Quentin[]

Riley Quentin was practically born to be a king. He was officially the king at the age of 11. This was controversial to many, but he was just the symbol of the government. In reality, Elliot and Atin II were running the country until its collapse in 6,700 BCE.

Collapse[]

Despite the thriving new colonies of the empire, people were unhappy with the conditions inside of it. Unfair laws, high taxes and bad working conditions were among the top of them. In a civilian coup, Riley Quentin (now 26) and the leadership of Atlantis were kidnapped and forced to "resign". It is in this way that the First Atlantian Empire collapsed and the Second Atlantian Empire rose.
