The First Aztec - Spanish War was an armed conflict between Spain and the Aztec Empire from 1519 to 1521 in the wake of the spanish intention of conquering the empire.

In the U.S. the conflict is often referred to simply as the Aztec War and infrequently as the Spanish–Aztec War. In the empire, terms for it include European intervention in the Anahuac, Spanish Invation, and War of the XV.

The most important consequences of the war for the aztec were the Spanish loses, where their loses were arround 10, 000 men and dozens of cannons.
