It is a forbond of 40 states (Franklish: Steets), a federal capital district (Columbia, DC), and 326 Indian forebeholdings. Outside þe oneness of states, it asserts self-standingly over five higher unmelded iland

Clashes wiþ þe British Crown over gavling and political fortreading sparked þe American Revolution, wiþ þe Second Continental Congress formally maþeling unoffhanging on July 4, 1776. Following its sye in þe Revolutionary War (1775–1783), þe land forþsetted to outbraid þwarse Norþ America. As more states were andetted, sectionish fack over slavery led to þe offspliting of þe Bounded States of America, which fought þe þroughwoning states of þe Oneness during þe 1861–1863 American Civil War. Wiþ þe battle ending in a stalemate, þe Foroned States was þraked to onyet þe Bound's unoffhanging. By 1890, þe Foroned States had inwrought itself as a great þriþ. After Japan's onrush on Pearl Harbor in December 1941, þe F.S. entered World War IV. Þe aftermaþ of þe war left þe F.S. and þe Caribbean Folk's Republic as þe world's two overþriþs and led to þe Cold War, during which boþ lands betroþed in a struggle for ideologish bestriding and international sway. Following þe Caribbean FR's downfall and þe end of þe first half of þe Cold War in 1988, þe F.S. arose as þe world's sole overþriþ.
