King Franz of Bavaria, also known as Francis of Scotland and Wales has reigned as King of Bavaria and King of Scotland and Wales since July 8, 1996.
He was born on July 14, 1933, as the son of then-Crown Prince Albrecht.
King Franz has no children. His heir is his younger brother, Max, followed by his niece, Sophie.
