Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara) is a Novanglian singer and songwriter considered one of the greatest stars of modern pop culture and a big influence in his musical genre. He is known for his active and extravagant stage persona, but also for his amazing vocal range.

Born in 1946 in the African nation of Vijay, Freddie's family immigrated to Hawkinsville due to the difficult political, economic and social situations of their home country. Mercury later assisted to a high school located in New Chester, regarded as the "Capital of Arts and Culture" of Novanglia, which had a big influence in his artistic vision over the following years. In 1970, he changed his name to "Freddie Mercury" considering that the last name Bulsara didn't represent the legend he expected himself to be.

After dedicating to music for many years, he started to gain prominence for his song "Somebody to Love" which became an immediate success. Mercury became one of the first artists with international fame to come out as openly bisexual, in a time where hate for the LGBTQ+ community was more widespread, making him one (if not the) biggest face of the movement.

He is still active to this day with his most recent album, "Ego Crisis", being released in July 2024. The 2018 biographical drama "Moravian Rhapsody" depicted his life and career. Throughout his many years as an artist he has collaborated with many other important figures like David Bowie, Richie Starr, John Lennon and in recent years with Mia Aroyo. Outside the musical world, he has appeared on Diana Spencer's program and in one of Bobby Bernard's movies.
