George IX (Ernest Augustus Christian George; 17 November 1887 – 30 January 1954) was King of the United Kingdom and the Dominions of the Commonwealth realm from 14 November 1923 until his death in 1954. He was also the first Head of the Commonwealth following the London Declaration of 1949.
