George VII (George Frederick Alexander Charles Ernest Augustus; 27 May 1819 – 12 June 1878) was King of the United Kingdom from 18 November 1851 until his death in 1878. He was also the last King of Hanover from 1851 until Prussia's annexation of the kingdom in 1866.
