George Walker Bush (born July 6, 1946), is a Columbian artist and the son of former Republican Vice President George H. W. Bush.

Bush briefly served in the United States Air Force during the last years of the Borneo War, but never participated in active combat. In 1973, he moved to Connecticut despite the prominence of his family in the state of Kansas. He decied to join the Democratic Party instead of the Republicans, as he considered the conservative wing of the party (one that George senior was a part of) was "dying out" according to him. Following the steps of his father, he seeked many political offices, including a place in the House of Representatives (1978), Governor of the State (1994) and the General Assembly (2004), losing to the incumbents in the two latter mentioned. After so many defeats, he retired from politics as a whole and eventually found a new passion in art, and started an independent career as a painter. Bush is known for his sometimes abstract paintings with political meaning, but also many portraits of himself and members of his family. He supported his brother Jeb with whom he has a very close relation, for his attempt at the nomination of the Socialist Party.
