Global Security Conference (Washington Shot at Murdering Town!)

The Global Security Conference is an international body that has existed since the Pan-European War. Inspired by the earlier Imperial congresses and the Ministry of Nations which had existed before the Pan European War. The Global Security Conference meets monthly to discuss balance of power, trade and global collaboration. Since its creation every supranational block, dubbed The Great Eight has participated with smaller independent nations having special seats with little actual authority. Political Scientists today claim the Global Security Conference has successfully created a multilateral world multi hegemonic in nature. Prior to the creation of the G.S.C international order was shaky, with large nations rising and falling in authority, however since the 1960's the international order has been static with occasional exceptions.

Organization

Within the G.S.C everyone within the Great Eight has hypothetical equal status, each supranational bloc appoints a council of ten to represent their interests. Participating members of the Global Security Conference outside the Great Eight, the Privileged Seats are afforded one representative to speak on their behalf.

An executive leader- World Guardian is elected by bloc representatives every five years.The World Guardian is primarily responsible for maintaining the unity of the Global Security Conference, instilling compromise and acting as a public figurehead for Security Conference Since 1970 it has been customary to elect a representative from one of the Privileged Seats to moderate as the official head.

To verify the G.S.C rulings are respected and to build collaboration between's the world people's the G.S.C has its own international corps- World Peacekeepers, comprised of professional soldiers from the Great Eight and the Privileged Seats. Headquartered from Stockom Sweden, the World Peacekeepers are deployed to situations when all Great Eight unanimously agree. In its history World Keepers have been called on just sixteen missions. The Global Security Conference is quartered from Athens, Greece, a nation, not a part of any of the major eight blocks.

Functions

The functions of the Global Security Conference are guided by the underling principal that security for one international body is a global concern and that all powers have motive to assist each other for the security of the world's people. These functions were established in the 1960's and have been changed little with the exception of additional provisions of environmental protection and social rights for the underprivileged.

Official Roles:

1. To address any unreasonable instability in any member
2. Gradually reduce trade barriers while still maintaining the specification of each world economy
3. Direct international missions in world-wide peacekeeping missions
4. To create a sense of pan human solidarity
5. To protect the individual culture of all participants including blocs and privileged seats
6. To address environmental and climate change
7. To see inequities regarding underprivileged persons resolved for the sake of global peace.

Criticism

By certain parties the G.S.C has been criticized for denying human rights, sovereignty of stateless people and attempting to create a one world government. Armed resistance groups blame the Global Security Conference for monopolizing authority in supranational empires.

Throughout the great eight there is also skepticism of the effectiveness of the G.S.C, the armed forces of the member states often view the G.S.C as being overly bureaucratic, and being too slow or unwilling to call action. There is also concern that the G.S.C could be used to favor one super block over another.
