Rules (four Rs)[]
- Be realistic. Please be realistic in your turns. Do not say, "The Netherlands will now raise a force of 1 million soldiers".
- Do research. Before you do anything, research the country you want to be. Research governance, provinces, military, etc.
- Be respectful. Do not insult another country or user. Doing so will get you dismissed from your country and maybe reported to the TPSTF.
- Be reasonable. Like rule number 1, be reasonable. You cannot force a random country to join you- "Austria-Hungary demands that Russia joins them." Doing so ruins the fun and will get you suspended from playing.

Head of State: [Human name (i.e Otto von Bismark), followed by a colon, then the wiki username.]
Money: [Default 10,000. It can fall if a war is going badly for you, you are losing cities, or any other realistic event. It can rise because you take more factories, you have secured a trade agreement (the profit you make is made by a moderator), or you build new factories.]
Political influence: [Default 100. This is the strength/weakness of the party in power. It can rise with a major victory in war, an achievement (i.e gaining a significant- above 10,000- amount of money), or other.]
Military manpower: [Number of people that are able to join up. This is the limit of soldiers you can raise. It must be smaller than the population, and reasonable.]

How to play[]
Announcements[]
An announcement is a message by one side announcing to everyone else an action. There can be unlimited amounts of announcements in a turn. They can be in any shape, but the general template would be "X would like to/will do this to Y".
Appointments[]
You may appoint anybody (with a real/fictitious name, but not an actual user on this wiki) to a position. These positions must either already be made in OTL, or created.
Mapping[]
Territorial changes will be mapped out every few turns. They must be clearly made by the player, not something like "We occupy lots of territory"; more of "We take Dover". If they are not, you will be reminded to do so. If you do not change it by the time the next turn is made, the territorial change will be counted as illegitimate (not counting).
Stats[]
Each country has their stats. You may change it- provided they are reasonable (mods may change and fix them if they deem them to be unrealistic). They give you political influence, money, etc.
Money[]
Money is very valuable. It can buy you more factories, soldiers, etc. These are the prices of what you can buy with money:
- 1000 coins for every 500 soldiers you raise (must be stated when you announce you are raising your military, or a moderator may delete the announcement).
- 5000 coins for a Level 1 fortification (a basic line of defences across a single border with one country, such as the French-German border. Moderators, whilst doing a battle report, will decide if the fortifications stopped the invaders.)
- 10,000 coins for a Level 2 fortification (a moderate line of defences.)
- 20,000 coins for a Level 3 fortification (a full line of defences).
- 3000 coins for a factory.
Battles[]
Declaration of war[]
A country may formally declare war on another country. This gives both sides a reason to invade, occupy and/or destroy each other's countries.
Moving troops[]
You may also move troops through friendly countries. Only if you have a military alliance with them can you move soldiers into their territory without making war. Should you move soldiers into hostile countries, it will be a casus belli for war, whether you meant it or not.
Invasion[]
An invasion is only an invasion if both sides are hostile. An invasion must have a specific target that must be announced in a turn (i.e "2,500 soldiers from the Prussian garrison invades Austria-Hungary").
Battle report[]
A battle report is a human-made report, by a moderator only, that considers the defences, strength and preparations of both sides during an invasion, and writes the outcome. It will then be posted under the announcement by the invader that they would attack. The format would be:
There [were/were not] defences on the defending side. The defences were [Level 1/2/3. Only write this sentence if they had defences.] The defending force had a force of [strength of defending force, or force stationed in the area. If there were none, put 0.] The political influence of the country was [Political influence of defenders. This will be the morale of the soldiers.]
The attacking force had a force of [strength of invaders]. They had a political influence of [Political influence of invading country.]
Putting the factors into account, the [defenders/attackers] won the Battle of [name of battle.] The new political influence of the defenders is [new political influence after the battle, of attackers], whilst the attackers have [Political influence after the battle, of attackers.]
Example turn[]
[Example] Turn 6: 1877[]

- Austria-Hungary: An ambassador shall be sent to Italy to discuss a trade agreement.
- Italy: Italy shall be happy to give Austria-Hungary steel on a monthly basis. (Mods need to confirm profit)

- Italy: Italy shall be happy to give Austria-Hungary steel on a monthly basis. (Mods need to confirm profit)
- United Kingdom: 2 new factories shall be made, one in Manchester, the other in Edinburgh. (Mods need to say profit).
- Moderator The UK shall gain a further 500 coins a year.
- Portugal: I hereby declare war on the Kingdom of Spain. Using my 4,000 soldiers, I will invade Galicia.
