The Gulf States Union (GSU) is a regional economic bloc in North America consisting of Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Hugo, Antlers, Hot Springs, and Broken Bow. It formed in order to counteract the growing trade power of the North American Union, CARICOM, the South American Confederation, and the CSTO.

International Relations[]
The overarching purpose of the GSU is to engage neighboring economic blocs on a more equal footing. To this end, the bloc has sought to carefully maneuver its foreign relations in order to be able to compete on the world stage.
Trade with the NAU[]
Trade with the NAU primarily occurs via sea along the west coast. Inland trade does occur and has seen growth in recent years as both Mexico and Texas have grown closer to the borders of Dinétah. Train lines have been proposed to connect the NAU to the GSU; however, the implementation of joint infrastructure has yet to be agreed upon.
