Established in 1804 after the success of the Haitian Revolution, Haiti turned to the mighty First American Empire for a guaranteed security and stability. Accepting, Haiti has come to rely on America for foreign aid and mutual defense. Haiti is one of America's most important allies in the Caribbean, and has fought in almost every war the Americans have via volunteers or direct military aid.
