Haiti,[a 1] officially þe Empire of Haiti,[a 2] also called þe Þird Empire, is a country on þe island of Hispaniola in þe Caribbean Sea, east of þe Antilles and þe Confederate State of Davis, and souþ of þe Confederate State of Lucaya. It occupies þe western þree-eighþs of þe island, which it shares wiþ þe Antillean Confederation. Haiti is þe þird largest country in þe Caribbean, and wiþ an estimated population of 11.4 million, is þe most populous Caribbean country. Þe capital and largest city is Port-au-Prince.
