The Royal Air Force is called in on the plan. It is decided that when Hitler is on his way to Paris to celebrate the capitulation, his car will break down on Franco-German border, after which Mosquito's and Spitfires will descend on the stalled motorcade. Although Hitler's car is stopped (thanks to Karl, who is traveling as part of the Wehrmacht Honor Guard), Hitler is about to board another car when the flight of RAF fighters emerges, and opens fire. Within minutes, Hitler, and other High Officials of the Nazi Party and the German Army are dead. One of the few survivors, Albert Speer, later called it "a gruesome end to a possibly glorious future."
But now, with Hitler dead, The Third Reich covering most of Europe, was now in peril. What would happen now?
