The Holy Congress of Mecca was a Pan-Islamic Congress held in Mecca, one of the holiest places in Islam. It was the second Pan-Muslim congress to be held in history (the previous one having been held in Basra in 1612).

It makes the first major meeting of Muslim Clerics and important religious figures probably since the unification of Sunni and Shi’a Islam in 1612, and the first real time leaders of Egypt, Arabia and Persia all met in person.
