The IBF World Cup is the international baseball tournament featuring the national teams from all over the world and was started in 1932 and takes place in the winter (February to early March) of the years where the Summer Olympics are held. The World Cup is notable for garnering some of the biggest viewership in the entire world, with billions watching every single year.

The tournament features 24 teams, with 2 spots going to the host and champion, with the rest of the spots being determined through the IBF World Cup Qualifiers, which is regarded as one of the most interesting qualifiers in all of the world, and due to the length of the game, many memorable moments have been made in baseball history through this world cup.

The current champions are San Esteban, beating Japan in the final.
