Idaho is a landlocked state in the western United States. It borders Washington to the northwest, Canada to the north, Montana to the east, Wyoming to the southeast, Utah to the south, Nevada to the southwest, and Oregon to the east. Its capital and largest city is Boise. It was admitted to the union on July 3, 1890.
